Heavy Is The Head

One thing that I’ve been extremely grateful for during this stay at home order is creating a new bond with my baby boy Legend. Before Freedom was born, Legend was practically glued to me. I always carried him, we were so close. I talk more about that in a past blog. Of course I thought when I had another baby that I would be able to manage being a mom of three and dividing my time up. I realized that it wouldn’t be so easy just minutes after giving birth to Freedom when I walked over to pick Legend up to let him know that he was still my baby. The nurses quickly told me that I could not lift anything heavier than Freedom. My heart was shattered that I wouldn’t be able to pick Legend up for a while. The Gift

A few weeks ago I went to the post office with a lot of packages to ship out from orders from my online shop. I had so many that I had to put them in a bag to hold them all. The line was long and I was waiting for what seemed like forever. I could have easily complained about the time that it took to get to the front of the line but instead I thought of the days when I prayed to have multiple orders to ship. Same with now. I can either complain about having more time at home or be grateful for more time with my family, more time to take care of my mental health, and more time to tune in to my gifts.
